I spend my weekends…
cooking, baking, making coffee and cocktails, reading, listening to NPR’s LifeKit and audiobooks on Libby, hiking, taking photos, playing Bananagrams, jogging, working my way through the last 20 Best Picture winners, learning American Sign Language, visiting family, and getting excited about decorating my house for the next holiday!
My book of the year:
Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin
Sam and Sadie—two college friends, often in love, but never lovers—become creative partners in a dazzling and intricately imagined world of video game design, where success brings them fame, joy, tragedy, duplicity, and, ultimately, a kind of immortality. It is a love story, but not one you have read before.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Photography is one of my favorite ways to connect with the world around me. I’m still learning, but I have some practice capturing pictures of my family, friends, and community members.
