I aim to advance health equity through research, counseling, and doula care, and work primarily with queer and trans people of color. My goal is to develop and employ accessible and affirming care practices that empower individuals, families, and communities affected by systemic inequality.
Hi, I’m Elizabeth.
My Research
I am currently a research coordinator at the PRIME Center for Health Equity where I coordinate multiple studies, including an NIH-funded grant called the Bronx Trans Health Equity Project.
My research interests are varied, but mostly gravitate around: minority stress and resilience among LGBTQ+ people of color; mental health equity; translating research to policy; structural and social determinants of mental health; multiracial youth and families, maternal/child mental health; and reproductive health and justice
